I follow a lot of CAD people on Twitter, and there are often a lot of good tips & tricks to be found in the feeds. (There are a lot of random – usually funny – conversations too…it is Twitter.)
Today’s tip is from @JeffBartels, on the power of the RENAME command:
AutoCAD Tip: RENAME command can add a prefix to all layer names. Use * for old name & prefix-* for new name.
Now there’s some food for thought – how many AutoCAD tips can be described in 140 characters or less? I usually use way more than that..maybe it’d be a good challenge? :-)
